The Ministry of Finance and National Economy is working on implementing the digital transformation program and supporting and implementing the transformation of E-transactions for government services, by adopting the strategy, framework, and plan of the ministry for digital transformation, and enhancing the alignment of services and operations with the framework of digital transformation, with the aim of achieving a sustainable economy.
MOFNE has also created a committee specialized in the security and protection of information and documents, digital transformation, and the development of E-services in the ministry, which stresses the importance of continuing to strengthen the digital infrastructure that supports the communications and information technology sector, enhancing its readiness in a way that stimulates competitiveness that reflects positively on the national economy.
