Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, met with Timothy Lenderking, Senior Official at the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.

Steven C. Bondy, US Ambassador to Bahrain, attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed bilateral cooperation, particularly in financial and economic fields.

The meeting focused on strengthening Bahrain–U.S. collaboration, advancing strategic ties and supporting shared economic interests.

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the deep-rooted historical relationship between the Kingdom and the US and noted the strong and evolving strategic partnership between both countries. He underscored the mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral relations across all sectors in ways that align with shared goals and aspirations.

He further emphasised the importance of building on the achievements made and pushing the partnership towards broader and more advanced levels of cooperation for the benefit of both nations and their peoples.
